5 Ways to Speed Up Your Sale

While we always love a challenge, sometimes clients want to get moving.  Follow these tips for a quicker sale.

  1. Price it right.  Set a price at the lower end of your property’s realistic price range.
  2. Give yourself an extra week to get your house market-ready just in case something comes up.
  3. Be flexible about showings.  We know it’s disruptive to have a house ready to show on the spur of the moment, but the more often you show your home, the sooner you’ll find a buyer.
  4. Be ready for offers.  Decide in advance how you want to review offers and what terms you might find acceptable.
  5. Don’t refuse to drop the price.  If your home has been on the market for more than 30 days without an offer, or if your showings are dramatically lower than area homes, be prepared to lower your asking price.
